Dr. Georgina C. Pastorfide completed her medical education at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. Upon finishing her residency training in Dermatology at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH), she then pursued fellowship training in dermatopathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a professor at the UP College of Medicine and past Section Head of Dermatology in the Department of Internal Medicine from 2013-2015. She is an active member of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) where she served as Chair of the Philippine Board of Dermatology from 2005-2006, treasurer from 2003-2006, Vice-President from 2007-2008 and President from 2009-2010. Currently, she is a member of the Advisory Council and President of the Dermatopathology Society of the Philippines under the PDS.
