Dr. Giang Huong Tran is a general pathologist with 20 years of professional experience, including more than 10 years of specialized expertise in the field of dermatopathology. She currently serves as Vice Head of the Department of Pathology at the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City and is a Lecturer in Histology, Embryology, and Pathology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. Dr. Tran received her MD degree in 2006, completed her Master’s degree in Pathology in 2010, and earned her PhD in Pathology in 2017, all from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. Her academic and research interests focus on dermatopathology, including melanoma, autoimmune bullous diseases, cutaneous lymphomas, and inflammatory dermatoses.

She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals and has been actively involved in both diagnostic practice and academic teaching for nearly two decades. Dr. Tran is committed to advancing dermatopathology education, research collaboration, and professional standards in Vietnam and across the Asian region.
