Prof. Jian-fang Sun, the doctoral supervisor, who is the executive committee member of Asian Society of Dermatopathology, the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine of Dermatology, the Associate Editor of Chinese Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Clinical Dermatology, International Journal of Dermatology and Venereology and Journal of Practical Dermatology.

Previously, Prof. Sun also served as the director of pathology department, Institute of Dermatology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, the group leader of dermatopathology of Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, the vice-chairman and chairman of the Professor Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, member of the standing committee of Chinese Medical Association in Dermatology and the chairman of Jiangsu Medical Association in Dermatology,

Prof. Sun, as the famous expert in dermatology and dermatopathology in China, is skilled in diagnosing rare and complicated cutaneous diseases, especially in the field of dermatopathology. Prof. Sun is the leader of dozens of clinical trials and more than 20 scientific research projects including Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 500 scientific papers and served as the editor of 11 specialized books.

During past 30 years, as the chairman or group leader of various national or local medical associations and the director of pathology department, Institute of Dermatology, CAMS and PUMC, Prof. Sun has trained 60 doctoral students and more than 500 postgraduates. He has also organized or co-organized nearly 30 times of National Meeting of Dermatopathology and more than 30 times of local meeting of dermatopathology. By organizing these academic activities, improve the diagnostic ability in cutaneous diseases and promote the development of dermatopathology and make great contribution to the dermatopathology in China.
