2024 ASD Scholarship

ASD provides scholarship for dermatopathology trainees studying in foreign countries.

Award: US$1,000 each for 3 trainees studied overseas in dermatopathology 

Aim: to help defray cost of overseas dermatopathology training 

Closing date for application: August 31, 2024. The ASD Awards Committee shall finalize the award list before September 30, 2024.

Requirement: 

1. Recipients must be an ASD member or associate member.
2. The award is only granted for long-term full time dermatopathology training (at least 1 year) during 2023-2024. 
3. The applicant can only apply after being in the fellowship program for at least 6 months.
4. All applicants must be duly qualified physicians practicing/training in dermatology or pathology.
5. Candidates must show a positive impact of his/her participation on the field of dermatopathology in the recipient's country.

Priority to trainees from developing countries. 

Documents:

• Curriculum vitae
• Training curriculum or proposal (including training period, location, program director, details of training program and curriculum)
• Publication or presentation during the training periods
• Proposed contribution to their country
• Certificate or recommendation letter from program director
